THE RECORD OF THE WEEK &

TODAY'S ON THE AIR:

"CHILDHOOD"

CHILDHOOD

UK PROMO CD SINGLE

EPIC/SONY XPCD 665

"Have you seen my childhood?

I'm searching for the world that I come from

'Cause I've been looking around

In the lost and found of my heart

No one understands me

They view it as such strange eccentricities

'Cause I keep kidding around

Like a child, but pardon me

People say I'm not okay

'Cause I love such elementary things

It's been my fate to compensate

For the childhood

I've never known

Have you seen my childhood?

I'm searching for that wonder in my youth

Like pirates in adventurous dreams

Of conquest and kings on the throne

Before you judge me

Try hard to love me

Look within your heart then ask

Have you seen my childhood?..."

"...I never would've thought she was living like that

Her words seemed so sincere

When I held her near

She would tell me how she feels

It felt so real to me

This girl, she had to be

An angel sent from heaven just for me

She said she didn't have no man

Raised her kids the very best she can (She was loving me)

She told me she was all alone

Said at home she didn't have no phone (She was loving me)

She said just to give her a page

To spend the night was the goal she played

She lied to you, lied to me

'Cause she was loving me, loving me

Yeah

She tried to live a double life

Loving me while she was still your wife (She was wanting me)

She thought that loving me was cool

With you at work and the kids at school (She was loving me)

She said that it would never end

Tried to keep me any way she can (She was wanting me)

She lied to you, lied to me

Because she had a family, family

Yeah..."

"GIVE IN TO ME"
GIVE IN TO ME
THAILAND CASSETTE SINGLE
EPIC/SONY 658946 4

"She always takes it with a heart of stone
'Cause all she does is throw it back to me
I've spend a lifetime
Looking for someone
Don't try to understand me
Just simply do the
Things I say
Love is a feeling
Give it when I want it
'Cause I'm on fire
Quench my desire
Give it when I want it
Talk to me woman
Give in to me
Give in to me
You always knew just how to make me cry
And never did I ask you questions why
It seems you get your kicks from hurting me
Don't try to understand me
Because your words just aren't enough..."

THE RECORD OF THE WEEK:
SCREAM (DAVID MORALES REMIX)
UK CD SINGLE CARDSLEEVE
EPIC/SONY 652022 9

In may 1995, just a month before the release of the highly awaited "HIStory" album, an incredible number of releases regarding "Scream", the first single release from the record, invaded the record-stores shelves. In UK, a special cardsleeve edition with 2 tracks suddenly disappeared from shops, and it was quite different from the europena release. Infact, this "Scream" cd omitted "Childhood" as a second track, while the David Morales remix was in. The presence of this remix is also stated on the front of the cardsleeve, and that makes this single highly collectable! It's not easy to find nowadays, but if grab a copy, you can say you are lucky, because it's very rare!

TODAY'S ON THE AIR:
"BLOOD ON THE DANCEFLOOR"
BLOOD ON THE DANCEFLOOR
TAIWAN LIMITED EDITION CASSETTE
INCLUDES 3-D CARD
EPIC/SONY SMC1266

LET'S CELEBRATE "BLOOD ON THE DANCEFLOOR":
23 YEARS AGO, THIS TRACK WAS ON FIRE ALL AROUND THE GLOBE!

"She got your number, ah
She know your game, ah
She put you under, ah
It's so insane, ah
Since you seduced her, ah
How does it feel? Ah
To know that woman, ah
Is out to kill
Every night stance is like taking a chance
It's not about love and romance
And now you're going to get it
Ah, every hot man is out taking a chance
It's not about love and romance
And now you do regret it
To escape the world, I've got to enjoy that simple dance
And it seemed that everything was on my side
(Blood on my side)
She seemed sincere like it was love and true romance
And now she's out to get me
But I just can't take it
Just can't break it
Susie got your number and Susie ain't your friend
Look who took you under with seven inches in
Blood is on the dance floor, blood is on the knife
Susie's got your number and Susie says it's right..."
