Here we are, this is the last post of this hot summer around the world. We stayed in Japan, we watched again a selection of rare items from Brazil, and how can we forget where all this started, in the Philippines? Now, with this Royal Rumble of "Greatest collectors hits" from South America, MJ AIR flew back to home. The last post, is one of the latest addition in the past 2 years here; the Argentinean VHS of "Moonwalker", renamed "Caminante lunar". I wanted this cassette so much I had to ask a seller in Buenos Aires to buy it for me...here's how a collector sometimes has to invent something to get his hands on a piece that otherwise would be complicated to buy.

The Showroom today lands again to Mexico, and chosen this "Stranger in Moscow" promotional cd single as "The record of the week". It comes in a thick card-sleeve - similar to the US issue - but...when you pull out the cd, what a surprise! An unique picture CD with Moscow's Red Square in the background. The CD features mixes by Todd Terry and Charles Reane for a total of 6 tracks.

Then:Stranger in Moscow premiered as the "new single from HIStory" in the italian radios at the end of August, 1996 (infact, the single was released in Europe before "Blood on the dancefloor", while in the US market made its appearance 1 year after in 1997, with the remixes album already out).

Huge item! And let me say:very rare! This is a promotional video cd released in Argentina only. The "You rock my world" title is transalated ("Conmueves mi mundo") and even though I've never played it, I admit, this should contains the full lenght video of the song (13'49"). If I tell you I've seen this cd 3 times in a lifetime, will you believe me? I don't really know how many copies have been made but I won't hesitate to put it in my personal "treasures chest", that's why it deserves, again, the "Record of the week" post.
