Wow! What a masterpiece! This "We are the world" release (sonewhere in South America, maybe Peru? or Colombia? Mexico?) it's a never-seen-it before item. I can't help you with additional infos, nor better pictures. This is all I've got.

And finally, the Showroom is proud to present not only the "Record of the week", but the "Item of the year".

This is another dream of mine that comes true...the rarely seen (even on the web) promotional boxset made for the launch of the Moonwalker home video in 1989, released only for promotion just a few weeks before the official release.

This promotional box, released by Parkfield Entertainment in UK, in conjunction with Guild Home video, and under the Warner Bros license, measures approximately 70cm (lenght) x 30 (!!!).

This box contains:

1 x MOONWALKER VHS (GUILD HOME VIDEO - UK VERS.)

1 x BLACK HOODIE SWEATER (With MW logo pressed on it)

1 x MOONWALKER STORYBOOK

1 x 4-PAGES FOLDED BOOKLET WITH MEDIA PLAN, AND

SHOP RELEASES PLAN

1 x ORDER POSTCARD

1 x PARKFIELD PROMOTIONAL HANDBILL (with references)

1 x ORIGINAL "MOONWALKER" MOVIE POSTER

Well, I've seen this item once in my lifetime. 

And the second time I saw it, was just a few weeks ago when I decided to buy it.

You, collector, are you ready to face your madness?

Here we have 4 bulgarian presses of the best selling album of all time, "Thriller". They have the same front sleeve, 3 of the 4 have the same back sleeve, and 4 labels with 4 different colours:orange, light blue, green and multicoloured (white,yellow & blue) (pictures 1,2,3).

There's no doubt:the one with the multicoloured label and white back sleeve is the rarest of the lot (pictures 4,5,6,7).

So....

4 are the "Thriller" lps you can see in these pictures.

But this doesn't mean the set is complete.

Maybe there's another different coloured label out there...so:

Newcomer of the day for the showroom's collection:a beautiful 8'' (!!) laserdisc containing the "We are the world" video. It was released by "Pioneer Artists" label in USA, in 1985. It also comes with a catalogue number: PA-85-MO25. Its running time is of 34 minutes.

In the third picture you can see this Laser disc near a "We are the world" japanese cd; just to see better the uncommon 8'' format.

Double-titled news today on the Showroom, and a total of 4 australian vinyls join the collection; a "2 on 1" Aussie only release (this is just one, but there's also a "Destiny-Triumph" double vinyl I still miss, marked as "2 on 1" too) , and a "Jacksons live" clear blue labels version, that comes from Australia too.

Obviously, the most interesting is the first one:it's a kind of reissue (made also in Europe for some Jacksons titles) involving 2 different albums "united" by a special gatefold sleeve:on the front side you see one sleeve, and on the reverse you see the other. So how you prefer, you can place like you want:the effect is that you'll see always a picture sleeve!

The masterpieces saga continues with one of the rarest 7'' singles EVER in the entire Michael Jackson discography. This is the promo only edition of "Speed demon", released in Holland (but some copies were distributed also in France); it was produced in 1988/1989, and it marks the 10th single-release from "bad" (out of 11 tracks:this is absolutely unbelievable!).

The record contains the "Edit" version, even though there are no clear differences with the classic "album" cut.
